Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA)

All UK residents travelling to the U.S.A by air or sea must apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation). Without one, you'll be refused entry and returned home.

ESTA Application Process You will be required to supply:
UK contact details
Passport number & expiry date
Flight details - Can be added or amended at a later time
Address where you will be spending your first night - Can be added or amended at a later time

Fee's:
The ESTA costs $21 per person through the official Customers and Border Protection website.

How long is the ESTA valid for?
Travel authorizations are valid for two years from the date of authorization, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.

Warning: Scam Websites
