We recommend that the lead driver holds a credit card in their name however each rental company has a debit card policy. Please ensure you read and understand the rental companies debit card policy as we're unable to obtain refunds if the rules have not been adhered to.
Alamo, National & Enterprise accept a debit card in the lead drivers name providing you can show your passport and proof of departure, i.e ticked flight / cruise itinerary which coincides with the return of the rental.
The security hold is $1 and will be released at the end of the rental.
A credit card is required if you book a standard sport (Dodge Challenger) vehicle category.
Credit card is required to complete skip the counter. Debit card holders will need to visit the rental desk - Please view the debit card policy prior to booking.
Budget & Avis accept a debit card in the lead drivers name for vehicles from economy cars to full size cars and the intermediate & standard 5 seater SUV.
The security hold is $250 and will be released at the end of the rental.
Debit cards are NOT accepted on Premium vehicles such as Convertibles, luxury & premium sedans, 7 & 12 seater vehicles.
Dollar, Thrifty & Hertz accept a debit card in the lead drivers name for vehicles from economy cars to full size cars only providing you can show your passport and proof of departure, i.e ticked flight / cruise itinerary which coincides with the return of the rental.
The security hold on debit cards is $500. The security hold on credit cards is $250.
Debit cards are NOT accepted on SUV, Minivans, Premium, Luxury and Convertible vehicles.
Sixt requires the lead driver to present a credit card and will place a block on the card which ranges from $200 for cars up to $1,000 for premium SUV's.
Prepaid Cashcards such as Revolut are not accepted by any rental company.
Please ensure you know the cards pin number as you will be required to enter this during the security swipe process.
